The National Weather Service confirms a tornado struck Laurens County Saturday afternoon.
The National Weather Service is confirming an additional EF-0 tornado struck central Georgia over the weekend. The tornado briefly dropped over Cadwell in Laurens County.
This is the third confirmed tornado in central Georgia over the course of Saturday to Monday. An EF-1 tornado occurred in Milledgeville early Sunday and an EF-0 tornado happened in Twiggs County, outside of Gordon, early Monday morning.
The preliminary EF-0 rating was assigned based on damage reported on social media.
Aubrey Ethridge posted pictures on Facebook showing damage to the roof and side of a building.
John Crowley captured the tornado on security cameras at the corner of Main and Burch Streets in Cadwell.
