Sheriff Joel Cochran sent 13WMAZ pictures of damage that occurred early Wednesday morning.
After Wednesday morning's storms, some in Washington County are picking up the pieces after a strong storm moved through.
The leading edge of the storms pushed into the western part of the county around 8:30 a.m., making it to the Jefferson and Glascock County lines by 9:15 a.m.
In addition to the damage, one injury was reported as well.
Broad rotation was observed on the radar just north of Sandersville around 8:50 in the morning. The National Weather Service issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning with a "tornado possible" tag shortly before.
Meteorologist Alex Forbes was tracking the storm live on 13WMAZ during a cut-in of CBS Mornings. No Tornado Warning was issued.
13WMAZ has a crew headed to Washington County and will have more tonight at 5, 6, 10, and 11 p.m.
